If you struggle with drug or alcohol addiction but have put off treatment because you live too far away from Troy, then you are not alone. Each year, many people put off getting the help they really need because of distance. Maybe it’s the hassle of having to take time off from work, make childcare arrangements, or you have family obligations that make it impossible to drive long distances for rehab. At the Midwest Institute for Addiction, we understand, and we know how hard it can be. That’s why we’ve expanded our drug and alcohol recovery services to include telemedicine. The telemedicine platform uses your computer and a specialized video conferencing platform, HIPPA approved, to bring the treatment you so desperately need to you. Imagine receiving treatment from the privacy and comfort of your own home, at a time and date that work for you. We know that many people live a substantial distance from our treatment centers inTroy, so to address those needs, the Midwest Institute for Addiction has created this exclusive program so that everyone who needs help can get it. Our highly trained staff, along with the education, case management, and collaborative approach to bring drug recovery programs to those who need it (regardless of geography) is what sets us apart from other addiction recovery centers.

A Comprehensive Treatment Team

Most drug rehabilitation participants who enter into the recovery program have suffered from addiction for a while. At the Midwest Institute for Addiction, we know that you did not suffer alone. Spouses, friends, family, coworkers, have all been impacted by the addiction. To that end, MIA offers comprehensive services to not only address your addiction to alcohol, drugs, or opiates but also to help repair the other areas of your life that have suffered. The Midwest Institute for Addiction doesn’t just offer you a doctor and a caseworker, we create a specialized team of health and wellness experts, as well as financial and legal counselors. Not only do you receive help with your recovery, but also can begin the process of recovering those areas of your life impacted by addiction.
Using the telemedicine platform, we offer you the guidance and information you need to begin to regain control over your life again, and to improve the quality of your life. Working with your local doctor, we coordinate medical monitoring, toxicology, and the management of Naltrexone, Vivitrol, Librium, and Methadone, if prescribed. Aside from the visits to your regular family doctor, and several schedule visits to our center in Troy, the rest of your treatment can be completed from home.

What This Means to You
