Secondly, our providers have years of experience in mental health and behavioral health counseling. Let’s get started. You don’t have to wait to take care of yourself any longer.

Family Services and Counseling for Loves Ones – In Treatment
During this challenging time, have you considered your own needs? We have.
Here at Midwest Institute for Addiction we provide family programs for those with loved one’s in our program as well as counseling services for those with loved ones in other programs or not yet in treatment. Our staff pride themselves on caring for the clients and their families—totally. That includes counseling services in St Louis and Kansas City; buy why? Obviously, when your loved one is suffering from an addiction, your main concern is getting effective help for that person. So when you come to us with that important member of your family, we work toward improving the quality of life for that client in every way. Interestingly, because the focus begins on the client with the addiction, the well-being of those who support that person often ends up being overlooked. Such persons may include spouses, parents, grandparents, children, and others committing their time, money, and emotions to aid the person with the substance use disorder. Our program aims to improve the quality of life of our clients and their families.
Family Services and Counseling for Loved Ones – Not in Treatment
There are those too who have loved ones needing treatment that may not be ready to seek help. This is also straining to loved ones who continually support their loved one and struggle with the stress and hardships involved. Our family services and counseling program provides these individuals with the support they need to take care of themselves and the loved ones needing help.
If you are one of these support persons, the toll on you may be overwhelming. The stress of limited finances, compromised health, and strained emotions may push you to the breaking point. Even if you feel you are successfully coping with the challenges of finding help for and supporting your loved one, you may have neglected your own self-care. You deserve care, even counseling services if needed, in order to persevere in your role of backing your loved one and in order to manage your own life with the attention it deserves. Having recognized this often forgotten group of casualties in the battle against addiction, MIA is expanding its services to provide counseling services to anyone in St. Louis and Kansas City. Enhancing counseling opportunities, attending to the quality of life, and providing additional programs to support those surrounding the addict are now features of our all-encompassing care opportunities.
